Phillies - Braves Recap Quickie

The Phillies take game two from the Braves by the score of 4-3 in ten innings. The Phillies were up 2-1 with two out in the top of the ninth when Brandon Phillips tied the score with a solo home run.The Phillies were unable to score in the bottom half of the inning so the game went to extra innings. The Braves were able to take a 3-2 lead in the top of the tenth thanks to some fielding errors by the Phillies. The Phillies loaded the bases in the bottom of the tenth on three singles two of which didn't leave the infield. Maikel Franco made up for his throwing error in the top of the inning by driving a ball to the right field wall that allowed Brock Stassi, and Cesar Hernandez score the tying and winning runs. The Phillies win their third straight improve to 8-9, and for now climb into third place in the NL East. The Braves lose their fifth straight and fall to 6-11.
