Phillies - Braves Recap Quickie

The Phillies completed the sweep of the Braves with a 5-2 win on Sunday afternoon. The game was tied 1-1 after seven innings thanks to a Matt Kemp home run, and a Freddy Galvis RBI single. The Phillies broke it open with a four run eighth inning. After Michael Saunders doubled to lead off the eighth Cesar Hernandez, Aaron Altherr, and Odubel Herrera hit back to back to back home runs to put the Phillies up 5-2. The Braves did score a run in the ninth and had the bases loaded with one out but Hector  Neris was able to avoid disaster and get the final two outs. The Phillies win their fourth straight to get to .500 at 9-9 and the Braves drop their sixth straight and fall to 6-12.
