Phillies - Mets Recap Quickie

Game two of the Phillies series with the Mets goes to Jay Bruce. Bruce single handedly beat the Phillies with two home runs and five RBI. The Phillies held a 2-0 lead heading into the bottom of the sixth inning when Jay Bruce struck for the first time. Bruce connected on a three run homer to put the Mets up 3-2. The Phillies tied it 3-3 in the top of the eighth unfortunately Bruce struck again in the bottom half of the inning with a two run homer to put the Mets up 5-3. The Phillies could only manage to get one of those runs back to make the final score 5-4 in favor of the Mets. The Phillies really should consider intentionally walking Jay Bruce.
