Phillies - Cubs Recap Quickie

The Phillies opened up a four game series with the defending World Champion Chicago Cubs (not used to that yet) on Monday night. It was not a good for the Cubs and their fans weather wise and baseball wise. As the skies unloaded on Wrigley Field the Phillies unloaded on Cubs pitching, Brett Anderson in particular. The Phillies  took out heir frustration of being swept by the Dodgers on Anderson for 7 runs, and 7 hits in just an inning and a third. Fortunately for the Phillies and their fans the rain did letup and the game was completed with the Phillies cruising to a 10-2 win. The Phillies improve to 12-12, while the Cubs drop to 13-12.
