Phillies - Nationals Recap Quickie

It took 10 innings but the Phillies ended their losing streak at 5games with a 6-5 win over the Nationals on Sunday afternoon. The Phillies were holding a 2-1 lead when Jayson Werth's second home run of the game gave the Nationals a 3-2 lead. After the Nationals would tack on a couple of insurance runs to go up 5-2 Arron Altherr would tie it 5-5 with his first career pinch hit home run in the eighth inning. Freddy Galvis gave the Phillies the win with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth and ended the Nationals four game win streak. The Phillies improve to 13-17, and the Nationals drop to 21-10.
