Phillies - Red Sox Recap Quickie

If you can believe it the Phillies snapped their eight game losing streak with a 1-0 win over Chris Sale and the Red Sox. It was a pitching duel between Phillies starter Nick Pivetta, and Sale. Pivetta went 7 innings giving up just 4 hits, 1 walk, and striking out 9 but came away with a no decision. Sale gave up 1 run, 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 10 in eight innings. The lone run came on a pinch hit RBI double by Ty Kelly in the eighth inning. The Phillies improve to 22-43, and the Red Sox see their three game winning streak end, and drop to 37-29.
