Phillies - Braves Recap Quickie

The Phillies made their first appearance at the Braves' new home, SunTrust Park, to open a four game series against one of their division rivals. The Phillies made themselves feel right at home by roughing up Bartolo Colon for 8 runs,and 7 hits in just 3 2/3 innings. The Phillies were up 9-0 before the Braves would get on the scoreboard with a pair of runs in the fourth off Phillies starter Nick Pivetta who picked up his first career win. The Braves did manage to cut it to a 9-4 game before the Phillies finished off the scoring with a pair of runs in the eighth. The Phillies picked up their third straight win over all and fourth straight against the Braves and improve to 20-35. The Braves drop to 24-31 with the loss.
