Phillies - Red Sox Recap Quickie

Jerad Eickoff came close to picking up his first win of the season, instead he picked up no decision after the Phillies surrendered a 4-0 lead and lost to the Red Sox 6-5 in 11 innings. The Phillies roughed up Red Sox starter Rick Porcello for 4 runs in the first inning. After the Red Sox fought back to tie the score 4-4 Howie Kendrick gave the Phillies a 5-4 lead with a RBI single in the fifth. Unfortunately for the Phillies Hanley Ramirez tied the score in the eighth with his 22nd career home run against the Phillies. Dustin Pedroia would win it for the Red Sox with a RBI single in the 11th. The Phillies drop their sixth straight and fall to 21-41, while the Red Sox improve to 35-28.
