Phillies - Mets Recap Quickie

The Phillies dropped their second straight to the Mets by the score of 7-6 on Saturday afternoon. The score was tied 3-3in the seventh inning when Tommy Joseph put the Phillies up 6-3 with a three run homer. Unfortunately the lead didn't last long. The Mets would score four runs in the bottom of the seventh that included a solo home run by T. J. Rivera, and a two run home run by Asdrubal Cabrera that put the Mets up 7-6. The Phillies had one more chance in the ninth when Aaron Altherr led off with a double, but were unable to score the tying run. The Phillies drop to 26-53, and the Mets improve to 38-42.
