Phillies - Mets Recap Quickie

The Phillies snapped their two game losing streak and avoided being swept by the Mets with a 7-1 win in the series finale on Sunday afternoon. The Mets had the Phillies number of late so it was good
to see the Phillies come out on top. The Phillies jumped out to a 4-0 lead with a four run second, and then added some insurance with a 3 run eighth to go up 7-1. The Mets got their lone run on  a solo home run in the fifth inning, it was their first hit of the game off Phillies starter Nick Pivetta. The Mets would manage just one more hit.The Phillies improve to 27-53, and the Mets drop to 38-43.
