Phillies - Pirates Recap Quickie

It was an Independence Day "Battle of Pa" between the Phillies and Pirates. Unfortunately for the Phillies and their fans it was the Pirates who provided the fireworks, Andrew McCutchen in particular. After John Jaso gave the pirates a 1-0 lead with a sacrifice fly in the third inning McCutchen hit a pair of solo home runs, one in the sixth, and one in the eighth to put a damper on  the Phillies plans to celebrate a win on the fourth of July. The Phillies' two game win streak comes to and end with the loss and they drop to 28-54. The Pirates end their four game losing streak, and improve to 38-46.
