Phillies - Rockies Recap Quickie

Scott Kingery's three run homer in the first, and sacrifice fly in the third staked the Phillies to an early  4-0 lead. The Rockies cut it to 4-1 with a run in the seventh. The Phillies added a very much needed insurance run in the eighth on Jesmuel Valentin's RBI because things got a little too close for comfort. Luis Garcia came in the game in the ninth, and surrendered three runs to cut the Phillies to 5-4 which turned out to be the final score after Seranthony Dominguez came in to get the final three outs to give the Phillies their second straight win. Phillies 34-30, Rockies: 32-34.
